Mower runs bad after it rains.

I have a 2017 Scag v-ride 52" with a 23hp Kawasaki. As of recently if we get caught out in the rain the mower runs poorly afterwards. Any ideas what the most common reasons are for this? I don't think its gas because after awhile it starts to run fine. Also it idles fine and only runs bad under load. Almost as if it was running on 1 cylinder. Any help is appreciated. Plugs, wires, relays??

The rain is grounding out something, plug, coil etc. Cover the engine with a tarp asap if out are out in the rain. If you are driving in the rain, get some bungee cord to hold the trap in place. Kaws don't like the rain.....

Thanks for the replies! The mower does get used a lot. It has 1100hrs. on 10 months of mowing. A lot of days it runs 1.5 to 2 hours at each stop.
