if you could only have one mower on the trailer and you didn't have large area jobs, which mower would you want and why? include size, type(belt/hydro/fixed/floating) brand...

36" hydro fixed deck. Can access back yards, can handle sulky and handles slopes.

    36" floating hydro w/ at least 15hp.

    Hands down
42" Wright Stander with a 17kaw electric start.
For a solo guy running med/small props its great.

Fits thru most gates, quick, less trailer space, handles slopes as good as a w/b(with many hours of experience) great cut.

When you get bigger (if you want to) it makes a great trim/backup.

This is my one main mower,

    Hustler super walk behind
    48" floating deck
23hp kaw with donalson air filter
    Bullrider sulky
    large Accelerator bagger

I do have a 21" and a 36"belt but they get very little use.

    Fixed deck

    Drive shaft driving deck

    with all the options!

Because I've demod and I liked it alot. It's not what I need. Really nice mower thought. I like Scags. I think they make excellant machines.

I have owned and used both a z rider and w/b's. I have to say they each have their place but if it came down to ONE machine it would have to be a good w/b with a sulky or velky because IMHO it is 2 machines in one.
