I noticed my gravely tends to jump around on the trailer if I hit a dip in the road, but if I put it further towards the front it's okay, but I have to put the rear wheels since I back it on right over the very forward tandem axle to limit bouncing. Any ideas on how to secure it better? I hate ratchet straps, they're a real pain and I'm sure they will just wear the paint off in the spot I put them at.
Man up. Put the blower and trimmer on the Gravely and drive it to your job sites. No need for trailers and trucks and added insurance costs. The money you could save is mind boggling.

No.....zero ideas. What about chains, are you partial to chains? Seriously, this is the most idiotic thing I'm going to see today...and I'm not even joking. IT's like saying you hate rubber tires so you're looking for better options to roll your truck down the road. Holy smokes.
okay i'll add to this existing thread instead of starting a new one. What do you guys think about these instead of fast straps? the fast straps remind me of those belts that people wear that don't have holes, and they're terrible. These Ericksons seem more like a ratchet strap type of tie down which imo would work better.
I have almost no concerns over paint wear. It's a lawn mower.
