How long do you wait to Mow after you Aerate and Overseed? I plan on starting my Overseeds in the next couple of weeks and the grass will still be growing fast. In the past I have always mowed over it after a week or two. Any coments on this?

    Thanks,
    Soupy

If the lawn is very dence i would wait till the new is about 3/4 mature. if you have a thick and full lawn two weeks would be good.

i normally wait somewhere between 2 or 3 weeks.........normally two

after the fert application, two weeks is about as far as ya wanna go especailly if you get rain but i mow it a lil higher so that i dont get close enuf to the ground to suck up any seed that hasnt germinated yet.........

One to two weeks generally. It really depends on the speed of the seed germination and growth. Good luck with it. I hope all of us get alot of it done this Fall.
