mulch and annual flowers

    what is the proper procedure to install mulch and flowers?
    plant the flowers first,or lay down the mulch first?.

    I do flowers first.

    We mulch first then do the annuals. Its alot easier.

    I've done it both ways. I think mulching first is faster.

    Im with Mike...Mulch first then Flowers....

    What do you think would be the best way?? plant the flowers and then mulch.
    when mulching around the flowers, you'll break some and knock off pedals. Or you could much and then plant flowers and have no worries of damage.
