    Hay guys:

I have never priced or done and mulch, nor worked flower beds,

I have several customers wanting this,

Just wondering how to price mulch, and is all ya do is just spread it in the beds?

For a professional look, you should always edge all of your beds. Therefore, the Mulch falls down towards the trench, instead of on the lawn...I hate seeing a half ass mulch job....and with the Bermuda Grass we have in my area those beds get invaded and there is nothing that can be done about it...But once you bed edge, build your flower bed up with Garden Top Soil in a area where you will achieve max curb appeal.....Spread mulch and get the check....As for price....$55 to $75 per yard depending on your area for mulch, and about $30 to $40 bucks per flat for flower, plus top soil.....hope this helps

If the beds dont have black plastic edging I will put in new "trenches" at the rate of $1.00 per foot.

As far as mulch goes. $80.00 per cubic yard delivered and installed.

Weeding the beds before the mulch is put in is done at $60.00 per hour.

Edge the beds, weed the beds for a better look as well. I usually spread the mulch at 2" or so when appling it unless the customer specifies they would like it thicker.

My charge for mulch is $70 per yard installed which includes the mulch but does not cover edging or bed weeding/clean-up.

Companies here are charging around 24 dollars per cubic yard installed. I sub it out.

I tell the customer what their choices are and they select what kind they want.
