Mulch Color

    Seems that by looking around here it is mostly brown ; seems like a few years back red was the hot color but has faded to brown over time.

    With Brown $10.80 a yard it is most common but Red Dyed is still popular around here.

    Natural here in SC. People are too cheap here. I prefer dyed brown but the natural double hammered has been pretty close to the dyed brown this year for some reason.

    Brown hardwood or light brown cedar mulch. I won't install dyed red/orange mulch unless a client holds me at gunpoint

    It's tacky and I won't have a jobsite associated with that nonsense.

    Pine bark followed by cypress. I really like the pine bark and the look it gives. Tampa Fl.

    Red, gold, pine bark and hardwood chips are what I have to deal with.
