How much do you guys charge per yard of double shred hardwood mulch installed?
i get 65 bucks.
we are at 45. think we are too cheap . cost us 17.50 to buy.
IMO, a fixed markup for mulch prices works well in some situations, but not in others. It's kind of like mowing a 1 acre open field or a 1 acre tightly-landscaped lawn. Do you charge the same price for both?
A yard a man an hour.
You have to know the cost of your man, the product, and recover your overhead and burden.
Since we do not, thats all the help you deserve to get.
When you get pricing help here, if it involves multiplying, or a real dollar figure comes to you, consider it misinformation.
Unitil you know your own numbers, you won't know real profits.
We get $53 for double shreaded.... it cost us $9 a yard.
ECM - Can you send me some of that $9 stuff? Man that is LOW. We can't touch that price. I see some guys around here selling for "$25 installed". They must be getting it for $9 or FREE. We charge $53 which includes $3 for state sales tax.
im paying 18 for triple shreded died mulch and i sell it for 25 and harge 25 a yard for install pulling weeds re edging and weed preventers are extra
