    how much does a yard of mulch waigh? how many yards could i put on my 16' landscape trailer with 2 foot sides on it, it has 2 3500# axles

    you can get roughly 8 yards of mulch as far as the weight it will be pretty heavy
    I pull a 12 foot single wheel trailer with 4 yards it does fine nothing fancy either...
    and approximately one yard of mulch will cover 324 sq feet at 1 inch deep, and 162 sq feet at 2 inches... hope that helps.

    Haha, seriously. I was hauling a bunch of mulch this week and it was significantly heavier than average!! Even the new semi-load -that I was first into- was wet. The guy even grinds it a final time before it's delivered to the nursery! Still wet.

    I had 4 yards in the back of my f-550 and 5 yards in my dump trailer and it was a load! If it were a dry 9 yards, it would've been no sweat.

    the best people to ask this question is whoever you're getting the mulch from. They work with the product, and load it, so they know weight questions.

    thanks guys sorry about the spelling i was in a rush and didn't catch it. i was thinking 8 yards if it was dry maybe 5 if wet

    Loader guy told me 500 lbs. / yard if not too wet.
