I wanted to get thoughts on mulching kits for a zero turn. I have about 15 yards a week (This is my second year doing this). ANYWAY! ...Im getting sick of getting clippings in the neighbors yards, flower beds, on the house, etc. Im thinking about getting a mulching kit once I get a zero turn in a couple months.

I was wondering if the grass is long if the mower will bog down, or just make the striping look like crap. Right now I love the lines my mower lays down. (wanna see pics? www.collegefundmowing.com

Would it be better just to get a manual discharge cover?

And if I do get the mulching kit, should I get a striping kit (also...do striping kits work....obviously I am still very new to this game.)

OCDC (operator controlled discharge chute) my friend. Once you use one you'll wonder how you did with out it.

What model and brand mower you running?

    A 36" Gravely mower. It's a belt drive older-ish model

On my Exmark Turf Tracer 36" walk-behind I am using the trimmer trap blade blocker and it has worked out really well. If you plan on keeping that mower I'd consider one. http://trimmertrap.com/all-products/14-sample-data-articles/96
