What does everyone charge for mulching. Any specific formula or calculations?
It really depends on your cost of mulch and what your paying your workers to put it down. I get mine for 15 dollars including tax per scoop and I charge $50 per scoop to install it. Another thing depends on if it is on a hillside and if you can just drive your truck or trailer right up to the site. Obviously if you have to park the trailer 500 feet from the spot your putting the mulch down you need to charge more.
This year I did mulch for $50 a yard. Next year, I'll be raising my price to $60. However there are situations where that price might be raised or lowered.
We can get anywhere from $80 to $100 per yard installed depending on bed prep, weeding, edging, etc.
I get anywhere from $80 to $110 a yard installed. The cheap triple ground pine mulch i usually get $80 for and the higher end Cedar and Hemlock I get 100-110 for. I usually feel the customer out and if I think their undecided I whipped out my album of houses Ive done in the past with before and after pictures which usually sells them right on the spot
Thanks for all the help.
