anyone ever have trouble having small mushrooms come up from their organic fertilizers?

i know mushrooms come from organic matter decomposing (tree stumps, wood, etc..), but i know for a fact in the one lawn i applied this fert to it has nothing below it, so it must be the fertilizer. it has happened in a couple lawns now.

Mushrooms respond to water and anything they can use dissolved in the water. Hopefully you have some humus in the soil for 'soil health' and that alone could do it.
Mushrooms, typically are a symptom of over watering. Watch out therefore, for 'puddling' in the lawn, which means bare compacted spots where nothing grows.
