Ever since we had that huge snowstorm, my Dodge ram has been driving like crap! When I am going under 25mph, it shimmies from side to side pretty noticeably, but does go away the faster I am going, and I have to hold the steering wheel pretty firm or it veers to the left very quickly. The air pressure is OK, I checked that first, I didnt hit anything so I have no idea what cause this to happen? There doesnt seem to be any unusual wear on the tires though. Any thoughts?

Track bar bushings could be shot but also check the ball joints, tie rod ends and check the unit bearings (wheel).

Death wobble happens at low speeds it can happen at higher speeds when the whole front end of the truck shakes. It only happens with trucks with mono beam front axles ie solid front axles where the wheels pivot on the same plane. Ford 4x4s and F-450-550 trucks will get death wobble Dodge 4x4s will get death wobble. Chevy with IFS will rarely get death wobble.

First thing to look at is your stabilizer shock puking its oil out if so its time for a new one. The stabilizer is a cover up but it is needed it helps to eliminate death wobble. Take the truck to a alignment shop and have them check out the front end.

Ever get a shopping cart with a wheel that wobbles well that is what your truck wheel is doing. It only takes one wheel to do that and you have a mono beam front axle the tie rod that joins the two wheels together makes the other wheel wobble.

I am going to crawl under it later on this evening and if I cant adjust it, I will have to take it to an alignment shop. If it were doing this death wobble, wouldnt the front tires be wearing uneven? They are not and look fine?
