I just want to give my experience and review so far with stinger equipment. I had high hopes that the quad aer 3600 would take my business to the next level as far as productivity & efficiency. It turned out that it did just the opposite.

I ordered a quad aer 3600 back in august but they coulsnt ship it out for a month until kawasaki cleared them because there was a stop sell on any machine with that particular kawi. No problem, not their fault, but then they finally ship it out - only for it to get lost in shipping and end up 2 states away to sit for 2 and a half weeks. Dustin at stinger was clueless of where it was the whole time, meanwhile im already a month behind schedule on aeration since the kawasaki engine stop sell. A decent company would have shipped another out or gave me a discount on the unit for taking so long. I was nothing but patient and know more than most that things happen...

Once I finally receive the machine 2 months later, about 20 jobs that I had lined up dropped me/found someone else to do the job - I couldnt even blame them even though all circumstances were out of my control. I was going to write this season off as a bad year. Well the 2nd day of playing catch up with the machine, the left hydro goes out, immediately call dustin who id been dealing with and filled him in on what it was doing. It sounded like a wood chipper if you touch the left control. The hydro wheel motor had self destructed from the inside. Dustin told me to keep running it, I thought this sounded crazy so I conformed via email and he pnce again told me to keep running it as long as it will move. I decided not to ruin my new machine further and checked the hydro oil to find metal shards thick within. Since the machine has a design flaw being that the whole hydraulic system is tied in as one from the reservoir (3 hydro motors and 1 resevoir as one unit), the metal shards had gone through the whole system leading to the right pump following behind and going out also. 10 HOURS ON A $13,000 MACHINE IS ALL I GOT. I emailed dustin and told him I'm sending it back after I dropped it back off at site one where i picked up 2 days prior and he never replied. Its been 2 weeks now and I thought they would want to make things right but still no reply.

All the hype about this company stops there - its just hype. I ended up losing somewhere around 40 jobs this season and for a small business, that hurts. Another thing I didnt like about the machine is amount of plugs per sq ft that it pulls. Its about 25% less than a couple of competitors that ive run. Its my understanding that this machine has been in production for 3 years, well, they still havnt got it right and the customer service is even worse. Thanks for reading guys I hope I can save someone the same headache experience ive had!

No video.

Sucks that you are having trouble with your new machine. Maybe @Stinger Equipment will chime in and help get your issue resolved.
I dont know why it wont upload the video, I resized it to fit criteria. I had several other local companies ready to pull the trigger on buying them too but ill be sure to let them know how my experience went down so they don't.

We have had mixed experiences with stinger. I won't get into details here because we will continue being a buyer and doing so happily.

We have 3 z plugs and 1 stinger rider. Unless Toro fixes their pricing on z plugs we will be buying more stingers. Honestly, our plan is to buy in March so they have plenty of lead time for them to fulfill delivery commitments.

However, I added this comment so hopefully David and Dustin can have a wake up moment. Stinger is an excellent design company. David's engineering is unparalleled. But their execution needs improvement in many ways.

Yes, they're growing. Probably too quickly. So slow it down, and fix the production issues so they're in control and not putting out fires.

My stinger seeder took much longer to arrive then I was led to believe. I don't remember exactly but something like 6 weeks. Seemed to be some confusion with factory/sales/owner. There was a minor recall and they handled that efficiently. So a mixed bag so far with customer service.

Sounds about right, my dealer bought two 30s from site one to see if its something they would be interested in selling. They had to order parts and said it took about 6 weeks to get those too. Once I told them about my fiasco they said nope! It sucks because the stingers look so good on paper. All the right numbers etc. On top of that, I forgot to mention, the whole company shuts down for the week of the GIE expo. The voicemail says something along the lines of "we are out at gie expo and will be back next week." So I couldnt even get an answer for one whole week of this mess and it sucks being in the dark on something like this. I guess they are out pushing sales on equipment they dont stand behind..i guess thats one way to do it!

I've only had good experiences with Stinger so far. I run the dual hydro WB with sulky. No issues with it at all in two seasons. I did not have the experience that OP had. Sounds like bad luck.

That was going to be next addition. It looks like theyve got those figured out. Glad youve had good luck!

The shipping of my Qa3600 was a fiasco also, but it is a great machine. Best on the market no doubt. I have 70 hours on mine and its paid for itself 2-3 times over now. My parts order shipped immediately. I've waited for weeks on parts from Toro and others so they're all hit or miss.

I think David is kind of the Elon Musk of lawn care equipment. Innovative and proud to say it, but sometimes struggles to deliver on everything.

Figure it's always going to take 2 weeks to ship and at least one week for one department to talk to another department and at least two weeks to build it.

doesn't matter what "it" is or who is building it, but if anyone tells you it's going to be less than five weeks and "it" doesn't exist yet (meaning it must be built) it's safe to say they probably don't know the answer and are either deliberately trying to press the sale or they have no concept of how long it will really take and are just coming up with a time frame they think sounds reasonable.

if you get "it" before 5 weeks you've got a pleasant surprise instead of a disappointment.
Up here that would be 8 weeks, mostly because people can't figure out where Alaska is , they keep looking at the map of the US and think it's somewhere by Hawaii...
