I found an on-line site that will give you free colored business cards. The catch is on the back side of the card in small print it says that business cards are free at their site. Do you think this might give me a "cheap" or not so professional look? I do have to say the cards look really good I'm just a Little bit worried about the plug they give themselves on the back. If anyone wants the site address i will give it to them just ask.

They probably won't look at the back and even if they do most likely they will want some of their own and be glad they saw it themselves.

you wouldn't be talking about: www.vistaprints.com would you??
they're ok, but i can have 1000 business cards made for me for $44.00 at my local printer shop. I allways thought there was some kind of catch with those free business cards. you get what you pay for.

I got 250 from vista print. Came out looking nice. I just got the basic style on mate paper with the standard 21 day $4.99 shipping. I had the cards a week later thought, it was nice. For $4.99 I would do it. Unless you can come across another great deal.

If you are asking for opinions, personally I think it's a bit tacky and unprofessional looking.

    Hi John P.,

If that's the difference between having business cards and not. Then why not do it? Later you can always change them as you grow.

I agree with walker-talker. go to designoutpost.com and run a contest for $50 to have the design work done. Then pay the money to have them printed. I think I paid around $150 for 5000 with full color gloss on both sides.

Marketing material is crucial when it comes to growing your business. There are just to many other ways in life to save a few bucks. Maybe cut back on pizza orders or something.

    Just my $0.02
