That sure is a great looking truck you bought! From the picture, it practically looks brand new. If they sold that body style today, I would still buy it. It's a very timeless design that i think was ahead of it's time when it was introduced in 1988. And for the Ford boys and their remarks, they are living in a fantasy world thinking Ford is the best thing since sliced bread. We have a '98 Ford F-150 POS @ work with 46,000 miles. I wish that it would catch fire from the electrical problems it has, or that the engine would blow from it's constant pinging. That truck will run on nothing less than 93 octane...no joke. I will admit that i like Ford trucks ok, but to claim that they are superior to all others is just a total crock. The guy here just bought himself a nice truck, how about congratulating him in a nice way and leaving out the sarcasm. I think the person that i am referring to will take a hint that it's them i am talking about. Something tells me that they wouldn't appreciate smart remarks made of their little ford pickup. Best of luck to you, 0ryan0, and enjoy that truck! It's a beauty!

Thanks pottstim, I also like that body style. I prefer it over the new ones.

It has 63,000 miles on it. There are a few scratches and a fairly big dent right below the gas tank filler neck, but it's not that noticable. I'll attatch a pic that shows it.

As far as being babied, I guess the owner took pretty good care of it maintenance wise and kept it pretty clean. However, it was worked most of the time. It was my uncles truck, and he plowed for a few years. He was also in the mowing business for a few years too. Then he moved out in the country and plowed his driveway with it. He is again moving and doesn't need it anymore so he sold it.

I was very happy when I found out about the truck. It is exactly what I was looking for, and it's hard to find 3/4 ton trucks around here.

You're very welcome for the compliment on your truck. That dent is no big deal at all. I was just curious, does the truck have the 4L80-E 4 spd auto, or the NV4500 manual? We've got a 4L80-E in our 1 ton Chevy G30 box truck at work and it has been flawless. I make sure the trans fluid is changed every 30,000 mi, and I do not run OD in the city or while i'm hauling heavy loads. I think that makes a big difference in the life of an auto tranny.

    Take care!

It has the 4L80 E transmission. Even though I havn't had it for very long, I like it. It shifts suprisingly smooth.

I guess having a few scratches is good, I don't have to worry too much about putting a few more on it...after all it's a work truck.

Nice looking truck. How much did your pay for the EZ dump, do you know? That seems like it would be alot cheaper than buying a truck w/a dump.

Thanks...Sorry, I don't know exactly how much the EZ dump was as it came with the truck.I think they are about $2,000 though, but i'm not sure.

I think you got a great deal! If the windshield wipers ever start acting up, let me know, I had a 1995 K1500.
