Hey guys, just wanted to share with you my landscape construction set up. I bought the truck and skidsteer this year (truck is an 04' F350 5.4L, and skidsteer is a New Holland L125), and I bought the dump last fall (6x10). I'm proud to say that I finally have it all paid off! What a great feeling that is! Let me know what you think!

Job at last two pics is completed now.. going to get some final product pics this weekend.. that was my biggest job to date (complete grade, did the flagstone, deck, moved hottub, planting, concrete patio was subbed, rest of it was mine)

This was a large sod job I completed (hired on temporary help for this!) It was about 30,000 sq ft. I wish I had a picture before I rototilled and graded this whole property, that would have been a great before and after photo.

** the last pic is how I started out last spring! ..I sold that truck before I had to put a new clutch in it, and before the mto (ministry of transportation:canadaflag:) caught me..

Wow you work looks Great, good job
That sod looks awesome. Do you ever wish you had gone diesel over the 5.4 when pulling what you pull? Is the truck just for work or is she a dd too?
Very nice sod job!
Thanks guys, the sod job did turn out nicely.. I graded out the whole property first, then tilled in 200 yards of mushroom compost, and then laid it.

I would have loved to have a diesel, but couldn't justify it for the price. I don't pull a huge amount of weight with the truck - the most I regularly pull is the dump trailer filled with about 3 yards of stone, or the skidsteer. Its both my personal and work vehicle, but my wife has a VW Tdi that we try to drive as much as possible to save fuel costs!
I love my new Holland. I bought it instead of hiring and employee this year and it hasn't let me down! I rarely use my wheelbarrow anymore. It fits just about anywhere, and I find it digs much better than the dingos and mt's I've rented in the past. I'm thinking of upgrading to an rc30 next year though for a little more power and also accuracy for grading.
i found one for $4500 u think its worth it? its in nice shape i was going to use it for snow removal and various landscaping jobs
Wow! you do some nice work! do you only use the skidsteer? or do you rent a mini ex to do some of the stuff?

Ya I think that's a good deal.. I definitely think its worth it, especially if you're going to use it for snow removal too. I have never plowed with it, but I know lots of guys in my area that use them for plowing. I love it for landscaping stuff, I use it for everything, I rarely even bring wheelbarrows to jobsites anymore.

I do majority of my work with the new Holland, I rarely rent a miniex. Today I actually rented an rc30 to shape some berms in a backyard. Had 200 yards of topsoil trucked in and it graded it in about 3 hours, man do I ever love that machine, can't wait to get one!
sweet set-up/ i love the truck. im a sucker for a regular cab 3/43-1 ton 4x4 trucks. thats bad @$$
all i can say is awesome! man you do some good sod work i had a sod job i did about 4 months ago that was terrible it was around 20,000 sq ft and we ordered rolls but they delivered 3ft by 3ft squares so that was a day of constant work without breaks! lol

btw how are gas prices in London?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys! Thanks for the compliments thought! Gas prices arent as bad as they've been.. they were aroung 1.39 a litre for about a month, now they're down to about 1.20 a litre.
Thanks Krazy! I love your truck!
