on the right side of my driveway. The water in my driveway slopes into one spot and settles right between the driveway edge and the edge of my newly laid fescue sod. I don't see a way to get proper drainage because of the shape of my driveway. After the rain stops, that section of the grass is literally under water a few inches. I just suck the water out with my wet vac. Can someone make a suggestion on some other ways to get rid of the puddles?

I would cut a small piece of sod and dig a pretty deep hole. Put some gravel in the bottom of it, fill the rest of the way with dirt and then lay that piece of sod back over it. Do a few of these, like one every couple of feet.

Install a catch basin at the edge of your drive.Connect that to corrugated pipe and discharge downhill.

I had to dig a trench about 50ft long and use some PVC piping terminating into a homemade basin filled with stormwater rocks. All I know is that there's no more puddle. :)
