Hi, a new client wants my company to rip out weeds from a 3 foot by 6 foot enclosed spot and put down stones. Now, I priced the stones at a total of $23.96 and the weed control tarp at a total of $20.30 bringing the total amount to $44.26. How much do I usually mark up the price to account for labor and other fees?

I charge 25% mark up for materials and I would charge $40/hr for labor. In my estimate and not being able to see what is needing done, I would charge $29.95 for stone, $25.38 for fabric, $5.00 for pins, $20.00 for ground clear, $15.00 disposal fee, $20.00 delivery fee & labor @ $40.00. Total amount $155.33 and I personally would round it off at $150.00!

Thanks for your help. The area is larger than what I first estimated, but I will just apply the 25% markup rule. Thanks again
