I have a potential job with two large round beds. I measured the circumfrance of both beds with a rolatape. One measured 44 feet round, the other 63 feet. According to the free tool calculation, a 44 foot bed is 1,523 sq ft. The 63 foot bed is 3,121 sq ft. If I use 1" thick mulch it looks like I need 15 yards. Is this right? Does it look like I did this right?

    Thanks

1" thick? That won't cover worth a darn. You'll need atleast 2-3 inches deep.

yes all of the calculations are correct, but I'd have to agree with Albery! 1" isn't going to cover anything, sounds like price is going to be an issue with the customer so try to stay between 2 & 3 inches and you can thin out in shaded areas if still needed.
