I am in the process of taking over this new building any Asphalt in need of repair. Unfortunately it's only about an inch and a quarter inch and a half thick if that.. how would you recommend repairing this? The only thing I have access to his bagged asphalt repair. We also planning on sealcoating it

if you prep and tamp the area you would be surprised how well you can do with the bags of patch.

    Weed burner

The weed burner heats up the asphalt
It's like red neck hot patch

    I suggest cutting it out
When ready get a couple yards of hot asphalt from a plant
One guy is heating the edges when the other guy goes and gets the hot patch

    Pour/shovel it in
Use a plate compactor and a garden hose to spray as you go.
If you don't wet it it won't set right and look all grainy

Treat tools with a little diesel and the truck bed too
Makes cleaning the asphalt off easier.
This time of year isn't the best for hot patch as it gets cool fast

But your weed burner torch should help with that.
Don't get more than two yards at a time
It will cool faster than you can use that much.
