I just bought a 2002 37" hustler wb with 200hrs on it and wanted to change the hydro fluid. The manual is very brief and says to drain the fluid then fill the new filter with oil then fill the tank. My question is, do I need to bleed the fluid and air out of the lines? If so, could someone help me with the steps for doing this.

Some manufacturers only recommend change the filter due to the possibility of getting contamination in the system. But anyway, once the system is refilled you need to open the bypass valves on the pumps and with the eng. at low idle move your controls forward and reverve 5-6 times. As air is purged you may need to top off fluid level. Now close the bypass valves, and go forward and reverse another 5-6 times, check oil level. You may have to repeat these steps.
