we have two 60'' mowers and a three man crew that would do it.

So say 3 hours to knock it out, if your @ $50 per man hour ($150 per hour) times 3 hours would be $450. Most large acre bids go for around $20-22 per acre. So that could $450 might be a little high.

Just received bid notice today - large area - $18/ acre. Prices here just keep getting lower all the time. Best of luck! No I didn't get the bid, nor want it at that price.

Man, I would love to have an account like this! To answer your question though running 2 60" you should be able to knock out 8 acres an hour (unless you have bahai grass like I have). Since there is not much trimming I'm guessing 3 to 3.5 hours with 2 guys including weedeating. Do you have a parking lot or a large area to blow off? Also figure about 45 minutes of drive time and gas. Man hours are roughly 7 x 60 = 420. Its hard to say because I don't know what your area will pay. Some places would do this for 12 an acre and some would demand 35 per acre. In my area though that 400-425 would be in the ball park unless a lot of weedeating. Good luck! You will get a lot of different answers on this though but every 5 days you might want to cut them a little break. Like I said, would love a shot at an account like this!
