A new customer just called and she wants a few bushes and shrubs trimmed!! any advice on how much to charge? It will most likely be done with loppers and a pruning knife! Kind of a small odd job and I'm at a loss as to what to charge?

DO you have a set of gas hedge trimmers? What kind of shrubs are they? How much surface area is there to trim? Just figure out how long it'll take you, and then take into consider your hourly operating rate. Don't listen to anyone on her about what price you should charge, the only way is to figure out what it COSTS YOU to operate.

My estimate is $50- less than 2 hours of work! She wants some small bushes leveled and shaped for spring! She also has 2 privet hedges(small) she wants removed! Actually I'm doing this with manual hedge trimmers and pruners! OH YEAH, and a shovelI've got myself and my son to help!:) Thank you for your response:) Hopefully everything goes good!!
