I am putting in a bid on a landscape job. I am going to make a couple of flower beds. It is sod so I actually have to form them and remove the sod. Do I just outline it with my stick edger and then use a shovel or is there a specific machine that I should use?:usflag:

How big of an are for beds? You need to remove the sod, either by shovel or with a sod cutter. Add soil amendments and till the area. Use a shovel to cut the edge in, for larger areas use the sod cutter.
