so one of the machines i just picked up was the delco force five washer. heres the problem, it requires 50 damn amps of power to run. i dont know how i didnt notice that when i bought it. so i have been searching everywhere locally to find a generator that i can mount to the trailers that will push that power. 50 amps at 250v is around 15,000 watts. hmmmm..... so i called many places, one company quoted me a new generator for $16,000. i almost hung up.... then another company quoted me around $2800, much more reasonable. anyhow, has anyone else had this much of a problem, and any suggestions other then the ones i mentioned????

Why electric??? Seems like a gas/diesel washer might be an cheaper alternative.

Electric power washers are for stationary installations.
Sell your unit and call Bob at http://www.presuretek.com he will get you the right unit for your needs.

the reason i bought the electric is because i got a smokin deal. i am coming to the realization i should've waited. my other idea on the unit is to seperate the burner from the washer and wire them each at 125 at 50 amp. anyway, i think i will end up selling it.
