All,
I have a new truck. My 8' bed 95 F150 was totalled a month ago. I run my business out of the back of my truck. I only run a 36" Scag and a trimmer, blower and a few other things. I used two 8' 2x8 ramps with aluminum ramp ends to get my mower in and out, it worked great.
Now I have a '98 F150 4x4 and the bed is shorter and the tailgate is higher.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get my 36" into the back of my new truck and still put the ramps in the back of the 6.5' bed without the ramps sticking out? What sort of ramp construction could I use and still keep things pretty affordable?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Below is a drawing I made up to help illustrate the the before and my current idea.

Thanks,
Pat G.
