    Hey guys,
I landed my first spring cleaning job..
I am going to power rake, trim the evergreens, edge the lawn and fertlize.
My question is how much would you guys charge for all of this..I dont want to be a low baller.I also need tips on power raking and fertilizing.

I know everyone is 'power raking' in the spring but right now grass doesn't need to be ripped out by the roots from soft ground... unless you are going to trim the evergreens regularily, do it after their growth spurt in mid-June... they hold their shape the rest of the season... more or less...
In my professional opinion and what I would tell clients, is that power raking is a very specific purpose and should never be done in early spring... right now the ground is soft and saturated and new roots are forming and growing into the soil... at least wait until May or June when the roots and soil has firmed up sufficiently... To do it as part of an early spring routine, is a 'rip-off'...

But of course the conventional wisdom out there, is on your side so you can get away with it...
