Tomorrow I will be buying a stick edger since I sold my stihl kombi system. Which one should I get? Either from echo redmax or shindaiwa. The dealer doesn't carry stihl. Which of those three brands are good? I have a $300 limit to spend. Any advice is appreciated.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those three. If I had to put them in order Redmax, Shindaiwa, Echo. But its all good with these.

I would go with the shindaiwa but you are going to have to rase your limit.

I have an echo PE-311, I bought it used, and it's got a boatload of power.

I have an Echo stick edger for sale if you're interested. It has been used 3 times.

No thanks I'm going with a new egder. But what model is it? I had that cheap 200 one two years ago and returned it after a month.

I'd suggest you go with an Echo 260 or 230.

I would get the Redmax straight shaft, think its the HEZ2500. The smaller one is nice but not the power like the straight shaft has.
