Need susgestion

    Anyone have a susgestion on what to plant at the end of a sidewalk in zone 7shrubs or a small type tree>it is aprox. 40' from end of sidewalk to the front door!! :waving:

    I think you should plant both.

    I agree. Why not do both shrub AND a small tree or to. Sounds like you have the space for it.

    I forgot to mention that the sidewalk will be outlinded with Evergreen Candytuft :waving:
    Only need 1 plant on each side of walkway

    Crepe Myrtles make nice, ornamental, border trees.

    a nice jap maple, or foster holly. common lilac, peegee hydrangea japanese virburnun, thuja orientlis. otto laurel

    2 jap maples would be nice on both sides of the side walk.

    I would not put any thing to pricey at the side walk if the dogs take a likening to it and urinate on it you can kiss it good bye. So i would go with a small trees
