I have 38 Leyland cypress ready to plant. Average temperature is mid 80’s Any advice how to give these plants a good chance to thrive?
FLC is right but if you already have them, keeping them alive in the pots is even more labor intensive. Myself I'd dig the holes a bit bigger, mix in some peat moss to the soil and water deep with a soaker hose. Leyland Cypress are kinda hard to kill with even a modest amount of water. My mom always liked watering them in with some B1 fertilizer.I have 38 Leyland cypress ready to plant. Average temperature is mid 80’s Any advice how to give these plants a good chance to thrive?
