ok guys, my kbl34a just crapped out on me today. i loved the thing and would buy another one if they still made them. the thing lasted me 7 years without pretty much any service. This past winter i had to take it in to get the carb cleaned, but that was it. ive decided i don't need to waste any more money on it and to just get a new one.

    things im looking for
    low maintance
power something comparable to the kbl34a

i was looking at the redmax bc3401dl what do yall think?
and don't all redmax trimmers have the attachments to them now?

The KBL34 spec'd 1.7 hp on paper, the KGT spec's 1.6 and only weighs 10.2 lbs (real world it's 11.7 full of fuel and ready to rock). I'd say stick with the Kawasaki, you got 7 good years out of the last one. :weightlifter:

    I love my KGT27A
