Today on my toro proline walkbehind gear drive the left drive shaft kept coming out of the coupling. It will move the snap ring out of the groove and allow the left drive belt and pulley to get against the guard. Its been a long hard day and I havent looked at it......... is there a set screw that holds the coupling to the axle and transmision shaft........or is the groove worn out on the drive shaft ? any ideas? I help Restrob will see this lol

Sounds like the groove in the shaft is worn or the snap-ring is stretched. A quick fix would be using a small hack-saw and deepen the groove a little more and replace the snap-ring. There is no set screw just the ring.
