Never finished!

Well, I have learned something once again, never say never! My church had 15 acres that we thought was sold but the people that was buying it and keeping the grass cut has backed out. So, I sold my 60 inch grasshopper mower. Now, I am out here trying to cut this mess with my John Deere X570. The mower is not doing too bad considering how tall and thick it is, and to be truthful I don’t think my Grasshopper would’ve done much better so, just never say never.

Do you have your deck in the transport position and discharge flap up or removed. Rotary cutter would be handy there but I understand you have to use what you have. I would suggest after cutting to come back a day (give it chance to dry and stand back up) or so later and cut it again but in the opposite direction. You will get it under control just might take a couple mows to do so.

I did have it in transport mode and the flap up but it is slow go.

We are not able to at this time to pay for this to be done, but thanks.
Exactly. A farmer could cut and bale that killing 2 birds with one stone. Property owner gets it mowed with no clippings(hay in this case) leftover and farmer gets the hay.

Also, that would only be good for beef cattle, not horse quality hay.
