    Man that thing is nice! I want one but I don't want to shell out 40-50g either! That 6.7 is nice

    ive been cruising the 6.7 threads on the powerstroke forums and besides a few small bugs, the motors have been getting rave reviews.

    some amazing (hand calcd) mileage. 20-24 highway mpg and 16 mixed along with great power for towing. and some of these rigs already have 20-40K miles on them.

    I've been doing the same thing and I have to agree, everything I've read so far about the new 6.7, (and the new Super Duty in general), has been amazing. From the power, to the mileage, to the new 6 speed automatic, (which itself is amazing and best's GM's Allison in every category). The only issues I have read about so far are, 1. The DEF lines from the tank to the engine being crushed when shippers strap the truck's frame to the bed of the trailer or train car that it's on (No fault of Ford); and 2. A rare slight hiccup in the shift between 1st and 2nd, but it's hardly an issue and it's something that can be easily fixed with a TSB program update.

    After years of owning Dodge Cummins trucks, (and a 01' 7.3 Excursion), and having great experiences with them, IMO I have to honestly say that Ford has the best truck out there right now, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. The reliability, fuel mileage, and power issues that plagued the 6.0 and 6.4 are a thing of the past, the new 6.7 is slowing turning out to be the next 7.3, but even better in all categories.

    I guess that is encouraging. What about the urea or whatever you dump in? Those mileage numbers are good to hear. To be honest they still scare me.

    I haven't seen new 6.7 in person yet I guess once one of the contractors leases comes up they will get a new truck.

    The local Ford dealer has 2 on their lot for a nice easy 76,739 dollars for a F-350 crew cab 4x4.

    The diesel option is 9950 dollars CND for the 6.7 the 2010 6.4 engine is 8070 dollars so the 6.7 adds 1880 dollars to a 2011 truck for a diesel.

    You would really want to have a diesel to be paying almost 10 grand for a diesel. Fuel mileage would never pay for itself.

    A 6.2 gas powered F-350 with the same trim and options as the diesel sells for 57,329.

    Sorry diesel trucks are grossly overpriced at those prices if you need to tow something heavy your better off buying a medium duty truck.
