I just wanted to post a short review of my new hedge trimmer. I bought a Kawasaki KCS525A. It is a short shaft trimmer with articulating head. I bought this to replace my Redmax short shaft trimmer.

I really like the way these cut. I like being able to adjust them to 90 degrees. They cut large leaf shrubs well and small leaf dense shrubs well. If I need a longer shaft I can change the head over to my Kaw. string trimmer. The teeth are not as small as the ones on the Redmax {but larger opening} and they are smaller than the ones on the Stihl and Echo.

One of the things I wish I could change would be the way to adjust the angle of the head. On these you have to loosen a knob, adjust angle and then retighten. On my Stihl all you do is pull back a pin and move, this is the easiest and quickest out of my trimmers.

Overall I highly recommend thse trimmers.
