I just started a new job with a maitenance company and have been put in charge of making a schedule for the 2007 season for some of our bigger accounts, And my question is where do I fit in edging. Is it best to do it in the spring with clean ups or wait until early summer when more people will be paying attention to the turf ? Also on average how long should a standard blade last, We have a husquvarna edger and seem to be going through blades quit a bit.Any help or suggestions would be great.ap

I do it every visit for most clients during normal growth periods....when growth slows....like this time of year...every other visit is fine for most sites.
