Well got my first “no-pay” over Canada day long weekend! Always fun with the line of “well you didn’t do this or that even though it’s not on the quote” and take 2 weeks to pay $25 lawn mowing :dizzy:. Whatever I’ll take the $50 hit on tri-mix and my own labour and move forward.

Happy 4th to the amaerican members!

How’s everyone doing with the heat?

Small walkway from today, it’s not done yet. With this heat it was a chore doing this solo.

Small site clean up for a home design&build company. I have been missing out on these mini skids. Definitely will be renting these again.

Picks up this property for weekly mowing, this is the same property I did some fence clearing at last year. Rough first cut definitely going to need some sharp blades after this. Sitting on the mower you couldn’t see over the grass/weeds.

Another “small” job, lift all the riverstone up - woven geotextile/weed barrier down and stone topped up.

Work looks great! What’s your service area, and do you have any help with you this year?

I service the west Ottawa area but with the company I do septics with it can be from Arnprior as far south as Prescott ON and from Perth to Casselman. Pretty well the Ottawa/Valley region , I have some help from couple part time people as needed.

Mostly it’s myself on most days.

Long time no posts, season #2 is fast approaching and it was a helluva first year. This past fall with got hit with a tornado (in eastern Ontario) which devastated a community 5 minutes from where I’m located. We also got 3+ meters (10ft plus) of snow this winter:cry:.

I’ve since invested in an old bluebird aerator (will post pics when I dig it out from winter storage) from a company that was doing a fleet clean up, along with a few other tools (husky chainsaw, Bosch lazer level).

Any how enough talk, picture time!

^a walk way that I did at home, got the stone for $100/skid (139ft2) $20/step as a stone yard was doing a clearance sale. Took a while to do it as other *paying projects took priority. (For those wondering; rinox pavers, Bolduc steps)
