New Operator with a Question

My business goal was to have 60 customers by the end of the season. It's almost august and I have 36. As a startup, is this good or bad? I'm hoping to find 9 more people so I can at least start next year at 45.

Keep in mind that there are ALWAYS people looking to find a lawn care provider.

They will call and call, and call until they find the person who has an opening in their schedule - that's you. ;)

Like oak nut said, always people looking for lawn care. I lost a client on Monday, got a call for an estimate Fri, had the bid for weekly mow accepted today, for $5 more per cut than the one I lost on Monday. Just stay at it, smile, talk, and say hi to your clients neighbors.

Considering I finished my first year with 11 whole yards I'd say you are doing quite well. More importantly, though, is how is your profit?
