New Raven "Mower" at Lowes

    I went into Lowes this weekend to pick up some odds and ends, and my son pointed out this piece of equipment. Looks like it's a ride-on generator with electric drive and deck motors. Maybe they'll make a commercial version of it some day.

    That's a great concept that I see a lot of commercial application possibilities. I wonder if its US made and could cut grass at 17mph with a little upgrading.

    The salesperson at Lowes told my son it was made here in North Carolina.

    Upon further research, I found that the components are made in China by RATO and assembled in Lincolnton, NC. Denver Global Products is the manufacturer's US arm.
