It's a suitable adjuvant for penetrating bark doing basal applications on trees and such. Can't remember what products I've seen it suggested for either but they all say not to let a drop hit the ground.
24D Ester, Triclopyr Ester, and Crossbow all have instructions for combining the product with Diesel for basal bark applications. Just checked the label for Pramitol. Calls for application in 100-200 gallons of Diesel per acre if a faster top kill of existing vegetation is desired. Not sure of how many states would allow usage of Pramitol, never mind its application in Diesel
no way diesel fuel is cheaper than gly. it would cost about $12-$15 every time you filled up the backpack sprayer. $40 of gly lasts me 3-5 years.
i have a customer that put concrete around the bottom of his chainlink fence. don't have to trim it and nothing grows there.
Most people in Hawaii do not install chain link without putting a minimum 1-2 course block wall under it.
