I don't know about anyone else, but I like it. The controls look very simple and easy to use. One feature I like is it has notches cut out for the speed control lever to rest in, so you can adjust your drive speed easier. I had a Yazoo/Kees Hydro WB that didnt have "notches" for the speed lever and sometimes the lever would slip all the way foward and the mower would take off at full speed, it was kinda dangerous to drive. Another feature I really dig is the height adjustment lever, its way better than fooling with the traditional "caster wheels and spacers". Only thing I would personally like better is a Kohler engine. I like Kawasaki but I am a bigger fan of Kohler engines.

looks like they are trying to build a wb on the cheap. Pro-V is better mower than this thing.

I like those controls. That is what scag has been lacking all along is those type of controls on there walk behinds but I cant believe there not gonna build a kick ass well built machine like the turf tracer. They might though fellas you never know this may just be the entry level with those controls.

My local rep told me about this several months ago and I actually posted a thread about it long ago. Anyways, Ive been waiting to see this but if this is what they have come up with im VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

This would be the ULTIMATE WALK BEHIND and I believe they would sell like the exmark turf tracers. Ive always said it, If you could put a velocity deck on a turft tracer machine GAME OVER!!!!!!

I'm a big scag guy but this is exactly what I was told and exactly NOT what I wanted.

All they needed to do is put these controls on the pro v and it would of been perfect.

I think i will like it ALOT!!

Then again i would take a 24" walk behind reel mower over my brand new 8,000 dollar walk behind i have now any day.

They built this because their current walk behinds are complete flops, guys bailing on scag left and right because of it.

Now scag just needs to step up and buy mine back.

Those pictures are of the prototype. Having used this mower I think actually using it really does the mower justice. It is a floating adjustable deck (classic deck w/ new baffle setup) and is certainly built to Scag standards in the quality department. I agree the deck height adjuster looks odd, but it is such a simple design with minimal fail points, it's hard to argue. If you get the chance, you really need to demo it. The price point will be significantly (thousands) cheaper than a turf tracer or T2.
