Here is a areial photo of our new shop, 10 acres 5 out building and a house. Picked it up 2 weeks ago, it was a forclosure so it will need some work before we can move in. I will take some more pics over the next few weeks and post them, we are set to close on it on april 15th, but we are hoping to move it up to march 23.

very nice, lots of room with 10 acres. I have been looking and looking for a place for our shop, how did you come across this? best place to search for foreclosure properties?

you should consider selling mulches and aggregates out of that site! extra revenue streams are always good.

i think the best way to find the foreclosures is to look in you paper in the classified section and there should be public notices section. Then you just show up at the auction date, i think you might be able to get it before they auction them though.

I talked to a buddy of mine, told him that we were looking to stop renting and buy a place, he started sending me lists with properties, some were forclosures others were not, mostly i was looking at the price tag look for properties that were 100 to 150K less than they should be. out of all the ones i went to look at there was only 1 that was not a forclosure, but it had a foundation problem and the neighbors were way to close.

we'll see how long it is fun to raise chickens!!!

My family used to raise 50-100 a year when I was young....My brother and I got to pluck feathers.....ahhh the smell of boiled chicken chit!! It may not be to bad to raise em for the eggs, but the weekend of butchering them sucks!

I am looking forward to clear pics! Nothing like a nice farm!
