i just got my fist new to me skid steer. It’s a Thomas 205.
First. Any things I should look out for on this machine. I already replaced all the filter and greased it up.
Second and this is the most important part. What kind of this should I do with it to get some practice. I have half an acre of wood to play with. I started grading it. I also have a wood chip load and some top soil. About 8 yards top soil.

Use it with a laser level and establish grade over a decent size area.

I'm not familiar with Thomas skid steers but the time to do question asking and a detailed inspection is before you make the purchase but that's in hind sight. You'll learn the machine quickly and figure out all its lil defects and issues if there is any and every used machine usually has some sort of issue or another but not always I suppose. That particular machine I'm not sure what to watch for but it sounds like you've serviced it and ur set to go you'll know more what to look for than anyone else
