Just bought my first sulkey for my 48" Bobcat walk behind. This is my first use of sulkeys. The salesman recomended a 17 " bar because I am tall...6'4". Have tried it out and it just kills my back leaning over to operate the handles.
Is this something I have to get used to, or should I bring it back and get the 15" bar?

Dave, check around and see if any other LCO's you know have a ProSlide you could try. It sits about 4" lower , directly on the ground, and may help with the leaning over the bars. I'm only 5'9", so I don't know how much the 2" shorter bar will help. I would think it would place the bar ends closer to your hips and legs during tighter turns. A proslide stays directly behind the mower, and never places the bars in contact with you. BTW- You can find them on Ebay for under $ 150.00, and they leave a really nice stripe as well..
