I picked up a used 2016 Scag 48" V Ride today. It has about 300 hours and came with about 24 extra blades & a brand new grass catcher. I have been using a 36" Exmark Metro for my 12 yards. The Scag is a beast compared to the Metro. I only have one yard with a 36" gate and I plan to use my 21" Exmark. Ready to put the Scag to work this weekend!

You'll be happy with the Scag. The V+ deck is the best in the industry. I would recommend going over the deck and make sure it is set up properly. Just to make sure it will cut good.

Thanks for the replies. I will definitely look at the deck settings. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's a great deal. I paid about 4K for my 52 with no extras, last year.

my scag vride is 3 years old and thought about taking it to the dealer to make sure the deck is still set up correctly. what is the way of doing it so maybe I can check instead of taking it in ?

We run both of our V+ decks perfectly level and have good results as far as stripe and grass dispersal go.
