I have to put a bid this week on a medical center. The grass is about a year old. Its growing even and looks good so far. Do I offer overseeding to thicken things up or just my fert in the spring and fall. I'm new to this part of it, I mainly did mow blow and gos last year so fert and seeding is new. My buddy builds lawns and said just to divide his estimates for seed amounts in half or even a quarter what do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I would just get good soil test for ph and NPK, etc., and follow the recommendations from those test results until fall. Then, if the grass still looks thin, that's the perfect time to overseed. Mid September or so. Overseeding now will just make it more difficult to control weeds. Use a good dose of Dimension or similar pre-emergent crabgrass preventer in mid April, when the forsythia is blooming. Good luck so.PA! :waving:
