One of my customers requested to have his yard aerated, over seed and fertilized. I personally have never done it but I figured this would be a good way to learn. The yard is exactly 1 acre with the front yard being completely exposed to sunlight and the back I would say 3.25 is shaded.

    1. What kind of aerator should I rent?

    2. How much should I charge:
    Over Seeding-

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rent the biggest aerator that will fit through the gate. I charge by area. In this area i get $20/msf for core aeration. Seeding fescue @5lbs/msf goes for $10/msf. Fertilizing with 18-24-12 adds another $6.00/msf. These prices are for wide open, relatively flat land-raise the price as the difficulty factor goes up.payup payup payup
