Has anyone used this new trac vac aerator? I am looking to have one, beyond my w/b split-drive lesco that I can use on Large areas of over 50,000sqft. If you have heard anything about these units please let me know. Thanks - MN WILDWOOD

The link to the trac-vac aerator is below:

saw it down at gerlach's (hastings,MN) open house. looks like a very nice piece, has electric ram to lift the tines when turning, unlike the gator-rator which is zero turn capable. the price is around 1,500 bucks if i remember.

Looks pretty cool, looks like it has room on top to put some weights on it. Core aeration is the only way to go.

Have it; used it last fall. Works very well, if you're referring to the kind mounted to the front of a ztr. The faster you go, the more cores will be flying-- suggest safety glasses during plugging. Don't need weight for the top as the ztr will push it into the turf. Solenoid lift is a bit slow, seems like around 5 seconds. That should be improved...

I was just going to ask about how fast the thing lifts up so you can turn.

How much can you turn with it down- if any?
