newby needs help

    I have a customer who needs hedges trimmed and trees shaped.
    Do you guys charge by the hr or by the job... Your help would be very helpful .. thanks for all your time .

    Charge by the job but bid by the hour. In other words you best know how long a job will take you and build in 40-50$ per man hour, add in any expenses
    like dumping, gas, materials,etc. Add how much the job will cost you to what you are charging for labor and shoot them a price for the job.
